My road to advertising has been a particularly long one. In fact, it began in a canoe. At thirteen I did what most thirteen-year-olds do and paddled from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg along the historic Voyageur Routes. Because hey, why should the Jesuits have all the fun? After climbing out of that canoe I was on to my next obsession – snowshoes. By sixteen I had snowshoed over 1,500 miles (if you’ve ever walked home in the slush with cold feet, you’ll appreciate that’s a lot of miles.) But nobody says, “First you get the snowshoes, then you get the power.” So, I needed a different approach. I tried being a truck driver, a car jockey, a painter, a carpenter, a landscaper and selling hardware. All to no avail. I had to rethink my strategy, so I started running half marathons, then 24-hour relay races, then 24-hour endurance mountain bike races. And that’s when it hit me. I’ll get married, start a family, have two kids and I’ll let them be my toughest critics in this crazy ad game. And you know what, it seems to have worked. According to various industry publications I’ve been given the first and fifth place ranking in Canada as a creative and there’s lots of hardware to go with it. So, stop by some time and I’ll fry you up a lovely pan-seared tuna with a mango chutney sauce.

Being a Venezuelan half Spanish Creative living in Germany, she‘s multiculturally-minded – and as a mother of two kids, multitasking is second nature to her. She‘s a proud member of the Art Directors Club Germany and Europe, and has also been part of many important International Creative Awards Juries. At the same time, Marjorieth is an activist on fighting breast cancer, helping others to detect tumors with time and to support others going through therapy, after she successfully beat the illness herself. That’s how her and her partners created Fuck it I’m Alive. While personal experiences made her grow, her professional experience made her a great creative leader. Philippe Pariente has been the President of IPG Health France since July 2009. He previously held the same position at Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare Paris (Publicis Group) for six years.

Philippe practiced medicine in hospitals and private practice between 1986 and 1990.

He was project leader at the French association for the fight against AIDS (l'Agence Française de Lutte contre le Sida), a governmental institution in charge of HIV prevention. He was responsible for communication to healthcare professionals until 1994.

He then continued his career in a number of healthcare communication agencies including Torrent and Medicus in France.

My name is Tim Schneider, born in Buxtehude. I studied graphic design in Hamburg, started my career at Grabarz&Partner in Hamburg. In 2000 moved as Art Director with my copywriting partner to work for HEIMAT, Berlin. Became creative director art and unit lead over the years at HEIMAT, Berlin.

Her creative journey has included some of the biggest advertising agencies, such as Digitel and McCann. As creative director and one of the key members of the creative team at Futura DDB, she successfully continues to design communication and creative strategies, concepts and communication solutions for the McDonald's, Studenac (Croatia's largest grocer by store count, and others.)

Francis is a French creative director based in Germany for many years now. Copywriter at heart, with studies in history as a background and parallel activities as a style, food and music journalist, he has worked in several agencies between Paris, Hamburg and Berlin, most notably at Springer & Jacoby, DDB, VMLY&R, Grabarz & Partner and more recently Media.Monks.

His international work for brands like VW, Telekom, MINI, Porsche or Eurowings has gained a few industry recognitions (New York Festivals, One Show, ADC, Le Club des Directeurs Artistiques…) but most importantly from his family, who always has been his toughest and most respected judge.

He believes that creativity only happens when you have build a trustful relationship with your client. A client you need to hear, understand and respect, because at the end, he/she will always know his/her product better than advertisers. Francis is married and father of one. When he is not working, he is an outside hitter on the volleyball court, a baroque violin player, an ambient music composer or even a road cyclist. All things that keep him inspired, even on the weekends.

Stephanie has wanted to be in advertising since she was 12. And after winning a fight with her dad – who insisted she become a brain surgeon instead – her dream came true. She started in this industry as an art director but after two years, she magically transformed into a writer. Over the past 13 years, she’s worked on an extensive range of brands, winning a few awards along the way. But the greatest thing she has ever created (besides her son) was writing a children’s book, which has always been one of her lifelong dreams. She currently works at M&C Saatchi Abel as a Creative Director and Senior Copywriter, as she can’t give up her love of writing just yet. She sees herself as not just a creative, but an inventor and truly believes that creativity has the power to change the world.

Kaki’s career is unique and hybrid. He started the career as an account executive of ADK Tokyo where he spent nearly 9 years at the account side. Then he joined Beacon/Leo Burnett Tokyo in 2007 as a senior producer, and gradually expanded his role to an integrated planner, to an interactive creative director and to a creative director. Especially through a decade of working with Nike Japan both in ADK and Beacon/Leo Burnett Tokyo, he pursued creative innovations in addition to traditional ads, which naturally brought him to be recognized as a hybrid creative person.

He joined McCann Health in 2017 as Group Creative Director to pursue the health creative and was promoted to ECD in 2018. Loves surfing and animals.

Janez Rakušček joined the advertising world in 1989 as a student at the Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film and Television at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. I am currently Head of Art at Publicis Groupe Belgium (Duval Guillaume / Leo Burnett / Publicis / Digitas / Prodigious), managing and leading the design department. In this role, my main objective is to bridge the gap between content and design, crafting the day-to-day work and award-winning case studies and projects for local, regional, and global awards.

Before moving to Brussels, I held a different role within the Groupe, as Creative Director of the Lisbon Office for two years. Two years that brought massive amounts of personal and professional satisfaction. During that period, I became a father, and the agency was named the Best Integrated and Innovative Agency in Portugal.

And in the five years prior to these life and career defining moments-- I was Senior Art Director at the Leo Burnett Lisboa office. Steve got his bachelor’s degree in Communications (UFPR-Brazil), with a double major in Advertising and Journalism.

Mariano began his career at Lautrec Saatchi & Saatchi during one of the golden moments of advertising in Argentina. After consecutive golds at Cannes in the late 1990s, he began a world tour with Saatchi that took him to New York, Toronto, Sydney and Paris.

During his 17 years with the agency he worked for Toyota, Sony, Procter & Gamble (Tide, Eukaneuba) General MIlls (Cheerios, Total), Tylenol, J & B, Beck's Bier, Villavicencio and many other clients.

In 2009, back in his native Buenos Aires he co-founded Les Argentins, a creative outsourcing agency with an innovative model: it only worked for other ad agencies, delivering white label creative ideas. For ten years Les Argentins exported thousands of ideas to France, Mexico, Canada, Germany, and the US.

In 2020 he joined Grey Argentina as Creative Director for Borderless, exporting Argentine creativity but within WPP this time.

Since 2021 he is Executive Creative Director co-leading the Borderless operation. His duties include Worldwide and North American Creative lead for Haleon brands including Tums, Robitussin, Emergen-C, Sensodyne and Pronamel. He is also one of the heads of the WPP Haleon Global Creative Council.

Raúl Lizaola is Group Creative Director at BBDO Mexico. With 14 years of experience, he began his career at J. Walter Thompson, where in just three years, he went from Junior Copywriter to Creative Director. After a stint at DDB, he came to BBDO to lead the team responsible for Bayer brands.

Thom is an Associate Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy with a background in copywriting. With 10+ years of experience in advertising, he has worked in some of the biggest agencies in Brazil creating for iconic global brands such as Nike, Google, Old Spice, Budweiser, Cheetos, Uber and many more, having his work awarded in some of the most important festivals of our industry.

He began his career as a copywriter at McCann Santiago in 2005. He later worked at other multinational agencies such as TBWA, DYU, and Euro RSCG (now Havas WW), where he handled practically every category in the industry. In 2013, he took on his first Creative Director role at a local agency, Boliche, propelling it to the Top Ten creative agencies in its first year. Anindya Banerjee a.k.a Andy’s journey in advertising began with Contract (a subsidiary of JWT). Subsequently, he worked at Ogilvy, Publicis, Scarecrow M&C Saatchi and FCB Ulka. In a curious stroke of serendipity, an opportunity opened up in Publicis Health just after the pandemic. He didn’t think twice and today he works on clients like Abbott, J&J, Novo Nordisk, Novartis and Apollo Hospitals. He has done campaigns for vaccination, oncology, TB and diabetes. In fact, he won his first Saniss Award in 2024, his first year of entering it.

Catalina is a professional advertiser who later specialized in Marketing and Innovation, followed by a master’s degree in Customer Experience.

For the past 23 years, she has been dedicated to marketing and communication for health products in Ecuador's pharmaceutical industry. Her work has earned her several internal recognitions for significant development in her product line within the Andean South Region. Additionally, she has twice been recognized by Revista Marketers by Adlatina in their "Who’s Who in Pharmaceutical Marketing" section, which highlights outstanding marketing professionals in the country.

Carlos E. Laureano is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, where he obtained a bachelor degree in marketing. He began his career in advertising with Foote, Cone and Belding Communications in 1998 (DraftFCB).

In 2003 Laureano accepted the challenge from J. Walter Thompson Puerto Rico, where he went up the ranks, from Account Supervisor to Account Director, Group Director and Vice President of Client Service and Business Development. After 10 years with JWT, Laureano received a new challenge form WPP, now as CEO of Grey Puerto Rico, restructuring and relaunching the operation in 2013. In 2019 Carlos returned to JWT as CEO, being responsible for the launching of Wunderman Thompson PR.

In Brazil, Marcelo Conde spent many years as a copywriter at Washington Olivetto’s iconic W/Brasil and later at Y&R. From 2013 to 2018, he was a Group Creative at McCann São Paulo. In 2019, he moved to Barcelona to take on the role of Global Creative Director at C14torce/DDB. He is currently part of the Global SWAT Team at Edelman.

Throughout his career, Conde has worked with brands such as SEAT, General Motors, LG, Microsoft, Xbox, Unilever, Reebok, Danone, Nestlé, LATAM Airlines, JBS Foods, Colgate, Globo.com, Itaipava Brewery, and The Salvation Army. Paulina is the Executive Vice President of Strategy at Ogilvy Health North America and has over 17 years of experience in advertising. She specializes in strategic innovation within the healthcare industry and has extensive knowledge of global pharmaceutical and consumer advertising markets, particularly Latin America, Canada, and North America.

In her role at Ogilvy Health North America and her previous position as Chief Strategy Officer at Ogilvy Health Canada, Paulina has been instrumental in shaping the strategic direction for a diverse range of leading pharmaceutical brands across various therapeutic areas, including vaccines, immunology, neurology, oncology, and hematology.

As a pioneer in digital-first strategies with a creative background, Paulina utilizes her deep understanding of emerging technologies and platforms to drive innovation and engagement.

Louisa has been a copywriter for over a decade with experience spanning pharma, consumer health and charities.

During her career, she’s made everything from cinema ads and documentaries to art installations and AR experiences. And she’s worked with some amazing talent along the way: Hollywood actors, rappers and even dairy cows.

A former IPA Rising Star, Louisa is now Associate Creative Director at Langland, where she helps to simplify creative problems and create work informed by lived experiences. Her projects have been recognised by Cannes, Eurobest, LIA, D&AD, The Creative Floor, Clio and Creative Circle.

Wid Souza is a Brazilian creative leader who currently serves as EVP, Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy Health. With over two decades of experience in advertising, Wid began his career at agencies such as Publicis, VML, and DDB, where he honed his skills in the consumer sector. During these formative years, he played a pivotal role in campaigns for global brands like Citibank, Heineken, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Colgate-Palmolive, Mercedes-Benz, UNICEF, Cartoon Network, Sony Entertainment Television, Bridgestone-Firestone, among others, guiding these brands through diverse markets and challenges.

Wid’s transition to healthcare began with a move to Area 23, where he seamlessly applied his deep consumer insights to the specialized and regulated world of healthcare advertising. This shift unlocked new creative avenues, enabling him to bring fresh perspectives to the healthcare space for brands like Boehringer Ingelheim, Pfizer, AbbVie, Bayer, GlaxoSmithKline, and Bristol Myers Squibb.

Coco Douaihy has dedicated most of her career to the healthcare industry and would not have it any other way. After spending a decade at Digitas Health, Publicis Group, an agency experience that fueled her career, she found herself in a new opportunity. She joined Dentsu in 2022 to help set the course for the launch of Dentsu Health — an ambition and commitment to unlock opportunities for growth across the entire health ecosystem.

Ricard Robres is the Executive Creative Director at Omnicom Health in Spain, leading the creative vision for all OH agencies in Spain, including DDBH and CDM.

With a background in Fine Arts and Creativity, he has worked with a wide range of advertising agencies and even founded his own. Over his 20+ years of experience as an art and creative director, he has crafted campaigns for brands like Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Danone, and Timberland. In the past decade, he has specialized in healthcare communications, partnering with pharmaceutical leaders like Pfizer, Roche, Bayer, Novartis, and Merck.

Since 2007, he has been at the helm of CDM’s creative team, driving the agency to win numerous national and international awards, including recognition as a Healthcare Network at Cannes Lions Health. He has also served as a jury member at global festivals like Dubai Lynx, The Globals, New York Festivals and Lisbon Health.

Cova is an Executive Creative Director from Spain, where she has been working for the last 15 years. She started her career at Leo Burnett and, since then, she’s been part of different agencies such as Shackleton, China, and Young & Rubicam, where she’d developed works for brands such as P&G, Kellogg’s, and NBC Universal International Network.

Cova currently holds the position of Executive Creative Director at Dentsu Creative Spain, working for Orange Telecom and CaixaBank amongst other brands. Her work has been awarded in different festivals such as Cannes Lions, Festival Iberoamericano El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica and Club de Creativos.

She is also a member of Más Mujeres Creativas, a non-profit organization in Spain dedicated to promoting female visibility in advertising.

Marlon von Franquemont is a Dutch Executive Creative Director with nearly two decades of experience leading creative work across Europe. He’s collaborated with agencies like Jung von Matt, 180 Amsterdam, and VCCP Berlin, developing campaigns for brands including Mercedes-Benz, Nikon, Mini, eBay, and The Anne Frank House.

At the heart of Marlon’s work is a belief that creativity should serve people — not just platforms or products. Alongside his agency work, he teaches at creative schools like Miami Ad School Europe and Willem de Kooning Academy, mentoring the next generation of creative thinkers.

Amanda is a Group Creative Director at Publicis Health Canada, where she leads teams and brands to grow into the best versions of themselves. For over 15 years, Amanda has worked with some of the biggest brands in the health and wellness space, including GSK, Pfizer, Abbvie and Moderna.

Amanda has lead many award-winning teams with her unique blend of artistic vision, business acumen and leadership styles. She loves crafting deeply human brand stories, and connecting with people at their emotional core. She has worked in countless therapeutic areas, but her best work is and always has been done when there is a real opportunity for changing patient outcomes.

She has a passion for well-crafted ideas, and her work has been recognized across the industry: in publications like Lurzers Archive, and at awards shows including the Effies, New York Festivals and at Cannes.
