Catalina is a professional advertiser who later specialized in Marketing and Innovation, followed by a master’s degree in Customer Experience.

For the past 23 years, she has been dedicated to marketing and communication for health products in Ecuador’s pharmaceutical industry. Her work has earned her several internal recognitions for significant development in her product line within the Andean South Region. Additionally, she has twice been recognized by Revista Marketers by Adlatina in their “Who’s Who in Pharmaceutical Marketing” section, which highlights outstanding marketing professionals in the country.

Catalina is also a board member of CxOForum Ecuador. Currently, she serves as the Marketing Manager at Laboratorios Bagó in Ecuador, where her passion for driving change and fostering innovation has made a significant impact. A few years ago, she spearheaded the implementation of Big Data within the organization, establishing a Data Analytics team that transformed how data is viewed and analyzed. She also expanded her team to include Multimedia Development and CX Coordination areas. The latter has led to a company-wide cultural shift with the transversal implementation of a Customer Centricity model, set to roll out fully in 2025.
