Jesús Hernández is a well-known entrepreneur within the healthtech and insurtech industry. For over a decade, he has collaborated as a pioneer in the digitization of the insurance industry, which today has led him to start and be CEO of WeeCompany, a HealthTech specializing in health and life.
He currently serves as president of the Healthtech Association in Mexico.
Jesús is an engineer in Market Intelligence, a technology enthusiast since then. His interest in finding solutions to the biases in the insurance sector began at 19 years old in his first job, a traditional insurance company and being witness to the inefficient processes and time wrongly invested in their documentation, he decided to pursue a more advanced approach through a more agile and feasible process for people.
On the other hand, to be part of the future of the health sector, Jesús went through various personal experiences that led him to understand the inefficiency that the health sector presents, realizing that most of the population did not have valuable information about their health as paper processes showed no informatic portability for medical decisions.
It was from this moment that he decided to become an enabler for the technological empowerment of the health sector, both in the public and private sectors. Currently, Jesús’s vision is to improve and simplify the health and insurance sector’s attention processes, focusing on the patient, in an end-to-end model achieving 100% digital operation.
