Keenan is an experienced advertiser with 15 years of creative problem solving under his belt and over 40 awards in his remit from festivals such as Cannes Lions, Clios, D&AD, One Show, SXSW, London International Awards, Bookmarks, Loeries and several others.
His career has played out across the African continent – first at some South Africa’s top agencies, such as NATIVE (now VML Y&R), Quirk (now Mirum) and later as Senior Writer at the King James Group, where his work contributed to both agencies reaching #1 rankings by the Loeries Panel including Digital Agencies of the Year respectively.
These days, he plies his trade as Group Creative Director at Ogilvy & Mather Africa in Nairobi, working on brands like Airtel, Total, Kenya Airways and NCBA.
His previous experiences at both traditional and digital agencies enable him to contribute with concepts and succinct communication that truly transcend disciplines. He has created and executed world-class campaigns for some of our continent’s leading brands.
