He is currently the External Communications and Reputation Manager at Pfizer for Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and Bolivia, as part of the company’s Latin America Communications team.

He holds a degree in Commercial Engineering, an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University in the United States, and a Global MBA from the University of Chile. Additionally, he is a journalist from Universidad Católica del Norte, with various other academic achievements and certifications.

With over 20 years of leadership experience in strategic marketing and communications, he has worked across industries such as healthcare, mining, government, and more. Born in Copiapó, he proudly hails from the dry Atacama Desert, where he began building his professional career.

In his role at Pfizer, he has championed science-focused communication, including the creation of the Pfizer Andean Cluster Award, which recognizes communication professionals and students for their work in scientific journalism with a focus on health.

He views creativity as a core value in marketing and communications and is also an award-winning author. His literary achievements include recognition in various competitions, including the National Fund for Books and Reading Award for emerging writers in 2016.
