20 years of experience working in advertising for Central America, Latin America and international markets producing award winning work recognized at Clio, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, Festival Antigua, Effie Latam, Festival Caribe, local/Regional award shows and Cannes Lions including the first Cannes Lion in El Salvador. Also awarded as Co-Director for the Documentary film entitled: Rosa, the life story of a transsexual woman in El Salvador, winning Best International Documentary at New York Independent film festival, Official selection at Ícaro and Biarritz film festival.
He has been jury at mayor international award shows including Ojo de Iberoamérica, New York Festival, CreativeX, Creative Pool, Festival de Antigua, Mad Stars Asia, amongst other.
Currently he oversees the creative department in the leading Central American ad agency Publicidad Comercial MullenLowe El Salvador, with a creative department of 70 people with multiple disciplines from creatives, digital, designers and producers. He also supports 14 advertising agencies from the same holding group ( GCC GROUP ) in the central American region with Portfolio and business model definition, creative process implementation, creative operations and management tasks, allowing the holding group to guarantee the same level of quality across all companies and redefining future models. Orlando also holds the position of Secretary at Humans for Humans Foundation, the holding’s group foundation aiming to create communication ideas that can help solve UN’S Sustainable development Goals in the markets they operate, and founded the first initiative: www.manualesparasobrevivir.org ( survival manuals ), an innovative Mental Health effort in the form of a digital platform to aid young and adults who were sexual abuse victims during their childhood and don’t know how to overcome their trauma, guiding them to other survivor’s experiences in step by step guides and giving them access to free or accessible PTSD therapy with experts in the field.
