Born in Uruguay, Pablo has a Bachelor of Science in Communication (BA/COM) by Universidad de la República, specializing in Advertising. He also attended to different Copywriting and Creativity Labs.
Pablo began his career as a Copywriter Jr. at Lowe Ginkgo Uruguay. After being promoted to Copywriter Sr., he transferred to Leo Burnett Montevideo, where he served as ACD. He became Creative Director of Lowe Venezuela years later, working regionally for Unilever, J&J and Alitalia, among other clients.
In 2004 he settled in Mexico, playing an active role in the growth of one of the most successful agencies of the time, Olabuenaga Chemistri. There, he served as a Grouper until 2010. After thate he joined Leo Burnett Chicago Lápiz as Creative Director, working for different P&G brands. Years later he returned to Mexico to lead a Creative Group at Y&R, coordinating global actions for Revlon and diverse projects for Dannon.
After being a Group Creative Director at BBDO Mexico for 5 years, he was promoted as Executive Creative Director where he currently co-leads the agency’s creative department, overseeing work for clients such as Ford, Mars, Pepsico, Essity and Uber.
Merits: Silver and Bronze Lions at Cannes Lions. Bronzes and Finalists at Clio. Finalists in One Show. Metals in NYF, LIA, El Sol, ADDYs, El Ojo, FIAP, Círculo Creativo. His work has been published in DesignTaxi, Luerzer’s Archive, Communication Arts, Little Black Book, adsoftheworld, adlatina, and Latinspots, among others.
Additional features: He has been a jury member at festivals such as Creativepool, El Sol, El Ojo, AdStars, Wave, NYF, Andy Awards, Chicago Ad Fed, LUUM Awards, Cíclope, FIP and WINA. In addition, he has given lectures and workshops at diverse universities. A 6-time marathoner, he loves writing, watching movies and training for his next race.
