After graduating from Ontario College of Art and Design, Rick Mayzis began his career at Ranscombe and Company – a small agency with a reputation for big thinking. During his first years in advertising, Rick crafted his skills as an Art Director on such accounts as Sony Canada, Royal Ontario Museum, Globe and Mail, workopolis.com and Doctors Without Borders.
Rick also gained extensive experience in the healthcare industry providing innovative work across multiple therapeutic areas including diabetes, arthritis, schizophrenia, hypertension, glaucoma, cardiology and asthma. He applied his passion for excellence and a keen eye for design to a variety of clients including GlaxoSmithKline, Novo Nordisk, Astra Zeneca, Canadian Diabetes Association and Prostate Cancer Canada.
Rick garnered international attention at Grey Canada, winning awards at London International, Clios, and The Marketing Awards. before returning to his love of healthcare as the Creative Director at Healthwise CRG. Rick is currently leading the creative at Ogilvy Health, bringing strategic thinking and innovation to a wide variety of pharmaceutical clients.
