The winners from the second successful edition of the Saniss Awards, the global festival that awards the best Health, Pharma & Wellness communication strategies, were announced on June 6th at an event at the Hilton Monterrey. The in-person event in Mexico, intended for particpants from Latin America, followed an academic gathering held at the Hyatt Toronto (Canada) on April 25.
Close to one hundred trophies were awarded, and agencies from more than 40 countries participated in the festival.
The award ceremony for hispanic winners included a presentation of the general winners of the 2024 Saniss Awards, with VML taking the lead as the Network of the Year at the festival, thanks to outstanding performances by its Latin American offices, as well as its branches in Italy and Thailand. VML Puerto Rico also took home a coveted Grand Prix in the Mental Health category, with its case “Jingle Therapy,” produced for SBS PR Alzheimer Association.
Dentsu Creative, of Argentina, was the Agency of the Year thanks to its stand-out case, “Scrolling Therapy” for Eurofarma, which won 1 Grand Prix, 3 Golds and 2 Silvers in the categories HEALTH: Consumer Products & Services, Innovation y Pharma.
McCann, McCann Health, Dentsu, BBDO and Mullen Lowe also stood-out with their submissions. Publicis, Grey, TBWA, Havas and FCB also had noteworthy participation.
The Table by De Ferrari-Borrell was named the Independent Agency of the Year. This Central American agency won an irrefutable first place, thanks to its case “The Skin Test Soap,” for Amadita Laboratory. Other prominent independent agencies included: BeautifulBeast, of the United States, Moon Rabbit, of the United States, and Brandcare Medical Advertising and Consultancy, of India.
In just two editions, the Sannis Awards has established itself as a global benchmark for health communications.
